“Audacious” Drone Attack From Ukraine Destroys at Least 40 Russian Bombers

“The most devastating blow to Russia’s strategic aviation since June 22, 1941.” Economist: Shortly after noon on June 1st, Russian social media began flashing, alerting the world to Ukraine’s most audacious operation on Russian territory to date. In Irkutsk province in eastern Siberia, some 4,000km from Ukraine, locals posted footage of small quadcopter drones emerging from lorries and flying toward a nearby airfield, home to some of Russia’s most important strategic bombers. “I work at a tire shop,” one wrote. “A truck pulled in, and drones flew out of it.” From an airbase near Murmansk, in Russia’s far north, came similar stories: “The driver’s running around…drones are flying from his truck toward the base.” Other alarmed posts soon followed from airbases in Ryazan and Ivanovo provinces, deep in central Russia (Economist). New York Sun: The strikes deep into Russian territory were made possible by semi trucks driving the drones into Russia before releasing them to evade cross-border radar. Likening the methodology to a Trojan horse, Russian commentators reportedly called the attack “Russia’s Pearl Harbor.” “What has transpired is not simply a drone strike on Russia. This was the most devastating blow to Russia’s strategic aviation since June 22 1941, the day the Soviet Union’s ally, Nazi Germany, betrayed the USSR and launched Operation Barbarosa,” Russian analyst Jason Jay Smart said. “In just one morning 84 years ago, 10-15 percent of the Soviet air force was destroyed. Now today, almost to the day 84 years later, Russia just lost the same percentage of its strategic strike fleet.” Finnish military analyst Emil Kastehelmi said the attack is “one of the most successful drone strikes against Russian air bases in the entire war.” “These are major and expensive losses for Russia that can’t be replaced quickly.  … Also Dyagilevo and Ivanovo air bases are burning. This is a very, very successful day for Ukraine,” he posted on X (New York Sun).

“Targeted Terror Attack” in Colorado
Molotov cocktails, multiple injuries in Boulder. Washington Examiner: FBI Director Kash Patel said his department is investigating a “targeted terror attack” in Boulder, Colorado, after a suspect reportedly attacked people who were participating in a walk to remember the Israeli hostages still in Gaza. “We are aware of and fully investigating a targeted terror attack in Boulder, Colorado. Our agents and local law enforcement are on the scene already, and we will share updates as more information becomes available,” Patel posted on X (Washington Examiner). Axios: Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, in a statement on the incident said: “Terrorism against Jews does not stop at the Gaza border — it is already burning the streets” of the U.S. “Today, in Boulder, Colorado, Jewish people marched with a moral and humane demand: to return the hostages. In response, the Jewish protesters were brutally attacked, with an attacker throwing a Molotov cocktails at them,” he said. “Make no mistake – this is not a political protest, this is terrorism. The time for statements is over. It is time for concrete action to be taken against the instigators” (Axios). Beege Welborn: The descriptions of the injuries are so ghastly:  “One elderly woman was so severely burned that her hair was charred and she wasn’t moving while others cared for her. Others were sitting/lying down in shock, some with their pants burned off, skin melted up their legs with their skin even split open and bleeding in some areas” (Hot Air).

U.S. Continues Nuclear Discussions With Iran; “the Islamic Republic must be unequivocally denied indigenous enrichment capacity”
Axios: White House envoy Steve Witkoff sent Iran “a detailed and acceptable proposal” for a nuclear deal on Saturday, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said. The written U.S. proposal is an attempt to resolve the issue that has log-jammed the talks: Iran’s demand to continue enriching uranium on its soil, U.S. officials say (Axios).            Those who have been watching Iran for the past three-plus decades remain uneasy with Iran have anything to do with nuclear enrichment: The history of nuclear proliferation is replete with examples where civilian programs served as a smokescreen for military intentions. Given the opaque nature of Iran’s decision-making, its persistence in supporting terrorism, its commitment to annihilate Israel, and its track record of clandestine activities, entrusting it with the complete nuclear fuel cycle is an unacceptable gamble. The dual-use nature of enrichment technology means that any facility capable of producing reactor fuel can, with relative ease and speed, be repurposed to yield material for a warhead…. It is for these compelling reasons that leaders like President Donald Trump, alongside officials such as Ambassador Witkoff and Secretary Rubio, are entirely justified in their uncompromising stance: the Islamic Republic must be unequivocally denied indigenous enrichment capacity. This objective requires nothing less than the complete, verifiable, and irreversible dismantling of the Islamic Republic’s enrichment infrastructure (FDD).

IDF Rejects Elite Media Claims of Deaths at Aid Distribution Site in Rafah
Ynet: After global reports accused Israel of killing 30 civilians near an aid site in Rafah, IDF denied firing in the area; Citing initial findings, officials blamed Hamas for fabricating the event and obstructing food aid to Gaza residents. IDF spokesperson released a comprehensive response to the accusations regarding the killing of 30 people by gunfire at the aid distribution area in Rafah, claiming that no shooting took place in the vicinity of the compound. Hours after the reports had already echoed around the world, the military accused Hamas of spreading lies — similar to the claim made by the American foundation that “the more successful we are, the more Hamas will report ‘fake massacres’” (Ynet). Karys Rhea of Epoch Times: This is the SECOND TIME a Free Palestine freak has attacked Jews less than 24 HOURS after the media put out an obviously false blood libel about Israel killing Gazans. Are you getting it now???? Lies about Jews leads to violence against Jews (X).

Hamas Operative Admits Coordinating Terror Activity in U.S.
Free Beacon: A Hamas operative who held Israeli civilians hostage in Gaza said Hamas works with anti-Israel protesters and the media to spread anti-Semitism in the United States, according to a federal lawsuit filed Friday. Former hostages Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv say in the lawsuit that one of their Hamas captors, Abdallah Aljamal, told them that “Hamas in Gaza was coordinating with its allies, including its allies in the media and on college campuses, to foment hatred against Israel and Jews,” the Times of Israel reported…. “With the news report on, his captors told him, ‘You see we have our own people everywhere,'” the filing goes on. “They then told him that Hamas has an ‘army’ operating out of Gaza that focuses specifically on media and sending Hamas propaganda and messaging throughout America and all around the world” (Free Beacon).

Trump Reveals Plan to Keep U.S. Steel Headquarters in Pittsburgh
From Trump’s Friday evening visit to Pittsburgh: This is an incredible deal for American Steelworkers and it includes vital protections to ensure that ALL steelworkers will keep their jobs, and ALL facilities in the U.S. will remain open… And every U.S. Steel worker will soon receive a well-deserved $5,000 bonus (Rapid Response). U.S. Steel: U.S. Steel will remain American, and we will grow bigger and stronger through a partnership with Nippon Steel that brings massive investment, new technologies and thousands of jobs over the new four years (U.S. Steel). Charlie Kirk: Western PA steel workers are ecstatic after President Trump delivers a massive deal between U.S. Steel and Nippon Steel saving 11,000 jobs: “I can take a breath today;” “It’s like early Christmas around here;” “I was crying. I’m not ashamed to admit it” (Charlie Kirk). Additionally: President Trump said on Friday that he would double the tariffs he had levied on foreign steel and aluminum to 50 percent, a move that he claimed would further protect the industry (New York Times).

New Aid Distribution Group in Gaza Weakens Hamas
Up to this point: Hamas and their enablers with UNRWA have been part of aid distribution—thus looting and skimming and selling the aid. The new aid group bypasses Hamas: A new aid facility opened in Rafah on Tuesday, the launch of a plan to distribute meals in safe locations rather than send aid trucks across Gaza for Hamas to loot. Hamas said this provision of food to its own people is “completely unacceptable” and urged Gazans “not to cooperate with it.” For those who want the food, Hamas had a threat: “Anyone who cooperates with the occupation in imposing its agenda will pay the price, and we will take the necessary measures against them.” Hamas punishes Palestinians it deems collaborators with torture and death. According to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), the U.S.-backed group running the aid operation, Hamas tried to keep Gazans from the food. “Gazans experienced several hour delays in accessing the site due to blockades imposed by Hamas,” it said. But crowds became so large that Hamas couldn’t stop them (Wall Street Journal). Madeleine Rowley on the pattern from Hamas: The terrorist group loots the distribution trucks carrying food and then sells the stolen goods on the black market at inflated prices. Hamas then pays its fighters with the money earned from the black market. In a statement to The Free Press, a UN spokesperson said that “there have been incidents in which criminal gangs of course looted the aid,” and noted that Tom Fletcher, the UN’s humanitarian chief, has urged Israel to open two crossings into Gaza, one in the north and one in the south. “To reduce looting, there must be a regular flow of aid, and humanitarians must be permitted to use multiple routes.” But looting is not all Hamas does. According to a document reviewed by The Free Press based on Israeli intelligence information, Hamas embeds operatives within the UN’s supply chain to manage the flow of funds to the terrorist organization. According to the same document, in 2024 alone, Hamas intercepted $500 million worth of aid (Free Press).

Supreme Court Decision Clears Way for Trump Deportation Efforts
A 7-2 decision that allows the administration to terminate the parole program—and thus remove illegal aliens. From DHS: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) secured a legal victory in its effort to terminate parole for more than 530,000 illegal aliens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (CHNV) who were released into the country by the Biden Administration. The U.S. Supreme Court issued a 7-2 order, staying a District Court’s order pending appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. With this decision, DHS can once again start removing illegal aliens under the disastrous CHNV parole programs as the case progresses. This order comes after an activist judge ruled that DHS could not outright end the CHNV program (DHS). Background: In an order on April 14, U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani barred DHS from terminating the CHNV programs without providing a case-by-case review of the decision to end parole for noncitizens who had benefited from the programs. And although she agreed with the federal government that courts cannot review the DHS secretary’s decision to revoke individual parole determinations, Talwani ruled that such a bar does not apply to this case because Noem did not have the authority to revoke an entire category’s worth of parole determinations. After the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit rejected DHS’s request to put Talwani’s order on hold, the Trump administration came to the Supreme Court, asking the justices to intervene. U.S. Solicitor General D. John Sauer told the court that Talwani’s order had “nullified one of the Administration’s most consequential immigration policy decisions.” And it had created, he added, a “perverse one-way rachet” by finding fault only with Noem’s “decision to restore the traditional case-by-case process by undoing the prior categorical grant of CHNV parole.” Federal immigration law, he contended, “prescribes the exact opposite” (SCOTUS Blog).

Male Athlete Dominates Girls Triple Jump, High Jump at California CIF Finals
In Clovis. AB Hernandez won the gold in triple jump and high jump, taking silver in long jump. Harmeet Dhillon, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights: this is a symbol of men taking away decades of women’s hard-fought victories (X). Los Angeles Times: Overcoming intense pressure to quit from President Trump, dozens of local protesters and other prominent critics of transgender athletes in girls’ sports, 16-year-old AB Hernandez bounded past many of her peers to win multiple gold medals at California’s high school track and field championships Saturday. The transgender junior from Jurupa Valley High School — who competed despite a directive from Trump that she be barred from doing so — won state titles in the girls’ triple jump and the girls’ high jump and took second place in the girls’ long jump (Los Angeles Times). Context: In the girls’ triple jump, Hernandez took gold with 42-2.75 (Mile Split). In the boys’ triple jump, Keith Cotlage won with a 51-4.5 mark—and thus the male Hernandez would not have finished in the top 12 (Mile Split).

Charlie Kirk: A Trump Revolution Is Coming to the U.K.
Observations after his trip to the U.K., debating students and faculty at Oxford and Cambridge:  I spoke to everybody I could while there, from drivers and blue-collar workmen to journalists and the shockingly large number of people who recognized me in the streets. What I heard from them was clear. They’re angry at Britain’s net-zero-driven energy stagnation. They’re furious at the Biden-esque levels of immigration inflicted on them by their “Conservative” government in the past decade. Over and over, they told me they were ready to smash the British party system to bits and elect a Reform prime minister. The great turn in Britain is coming. And when it arrives, the students of Oxbridge will be the most surprised of all (Spectator).
