John, I want to be upfront with you — we came up short of our fundraising projection for May. And with everything happening in Washington right now, that’s a setback we can’t afford. Just days ago, Georgia Republicans in the House voted unanimously to pass a budget bill that does exactly what we feared: it rewards the ultra-wealthy and leaves everyday Georgians behind. Buddy Carter and his allies are doubling down on their agenda — slashing critical programs like SNAP, Medicaid, and the Child Tax Credit, all so they can keep padding the pockets of billionaires and corporate donors. Meanwhile, working families are being squeezed by higher prices, fewer resources, and a government that turns its back on them when they need it most. This isn’t just bad policy. It’s a deliberate choice. And Georgia Republicans keep choosing Donald Trump and his billionaire friends over the people who elected them. We’re heading into the final month of Q2, and this moment demands an urgent response. We need to prove that Georgia Democrats are strong, fired up, and ready to fight back.
