CBS NEWS: Federal judge calls Trump executive order "unconstitutional."

REUTERS: This is the third Trump order against law firms tossed by the
courts in a month.

Back in March, when Trump tried to bully major law firms into firing
attorneys who opposed him, PCCC members leapt into action. Thousands of us
called and emailed executives at top firms with a simple message: Stand
up. Don’t cave.

This week’s ruling – the third in 30 days – is clear proof that the firms
that caved made a costly mistake. Their retreat has already left
nonprofits, community groups, and everyday people scrambling to find legal
help when Trump’s agenda lands on their doorstep.

The firms that fought back were right – and we were right to pressure them
to fight.

* Colleges & universities. He’s freezing billions in grants and visas to

let Trump strip any charity’s tax‑exempt status with no evidence or
due process.
* Independent media & watchdogs. Journalists and public‑interest groups
report retaliatory lawsuits and accreditation threats aimed at
silencing critical coverage.
