<p>I still cannot believe the news I received from the court some days ago: I am a free man again!</p> <p>The court informed me that the prosecutor finally repealed the appeal he had filed after the court's acquittal in the second court hearing in October 2024.</p> <p>Maybe they knew from the beginning that they had no chance to win the appeal and only filed it to keep me in a state of uncertainty for some more months, hoping that would break me and make me back down&hellip;</p> <p>In the end they were sometimes quite close to reaching that goal. It is not funny to face a criminal complaint that may result even in being sentenced to prison when you have done nothing bad. As you remember, I had just shared a meme on the German facebook page of CitizenGO.</p> <p>A meme that was part of a campaign. A meme that talked about pedophiles attempts to get recognized by society. Well, finally the judge in the second court hearing stated that these attempts happen, so the meme highlighted realities&hellip;</p> <p>The worst time was the time in the beginning. The months after the accusation had been made. And the time after the district count had found me guilty and had sentenced me.&nbsp;</p> <p>I had my doubts during that time. I thought about quitting at CitizenGO and returning to a normal job where I would be less under attack.&nbsp;</p> <p>Well, it has been YOU, the supporters of CitizenGO, who helped me to stay strong and not give in to such doubts and thoughts. Those of you, who sent me encouraging messages from all over the world. And of course those who helped with their donations that CitizenGO was able to defend me.</p> <p>Some days ago I met my dear teammate Caroline Farrow during our big protest in Geneva against the pandemic treaty of the WHO. It was great to talk to her, as she - as all of you know - suffered from much more harsh persecution than I did.<br /><br />Here is a video from that meeting:<br /><a href= "[link removed]" target="_blank" ><img src="[link removed]" alt="" width="300" height="150" constrain="true" imagepreview="false" border="" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" /></a><br /></p> <p>What I know, what you know, what every team member of CitizenGO knows is: This is for sure not the last time a member from the team of CitizenGO has been brought to court. They did it with Caroline Farrow in Great Britain, they did it with Ann Kioko in Africa, and they did it with me in Germany. And we are aware someone from the team will be next, we just do not know who it will be and where it will happen.</p> <p>What we know is: we have to be prepared.&nbsp;</p> <p>We have to be prepared mentally and financially. CitizenGO needs to build a financial stock to be able to defend team members that get targeted the moment it happens, organizing the best legal support that is possible.</p> <p>So please help us with a donation if you are able to do so!<br /><br />Thanks for all you did and do, for all the encouraging messages, your prayers and your donations</p>
