Dear VCC Community,

A couple of years ago we recognized that we needed to reach younger parents. Actually, we needed to reach young people before they became parents. Once parents start vaccinating their children, we can slow the harm but much of the damage is already done. Every vaccine causes harm. The more I’ve researched vaccines the clearer is my understanding that all vaccines cause injury for all children. When I’m asked the question, “How many children are vaccine injured?”, my response is – “All of them.”

Recently I was approached by Nico Lagan, a soon-to-be father. Nico and his wife are seven months pregnant with their first child. The vaccine conversation is extremely important to Nico. He’s like a sponge, wanting to learn everything he can about vaccines and the risk they pose to his unborn child. Nico shared with me that during their first visit with the doctor who will be attending the birth of their child, it took only a few minutes before the doctor began promoting vaccines for his pregnant wife. 

Nico reached out to me and asked if he could visit me in person and record an interview on the subject of vaccine risk. Nico and I recorded more than four and a half hours of conversation on the topic of vaccine safety and informed consent. Nico is a podcaster ([link removed]) who is passionate about getting the word out to other mothers and fathers who are entering parenthood.

It was a recent social media post which included my comments during an interview with Nico that was viewed more than 500,000 times on Instagram. We recently hired Louisa, a young twenty-something woman who too is passionate about getting the word out to her peer group. We realize we need to do more of this kind of messaging that targets young people. They need to know what we’ve learned the hard way. More and more young parents are eager to hear our wisdom. We need to make them aware of our New Parent Guide to Understanding Vaccination ([link removed]) and the Pregnancy and Vaccination ([link removed]) resource for soon-to-be moms and dads.

We can only do this work with your support. VCC relies on the monthly and annual donations from our dedicated community of vaccine risk aware parents and grandparents. The reality is we need $50,000 to enable us to do this work.

We ask for your financial support two times annually. With your support we can continue to make a difference. I have no doubt that our work is saving lives and keeping children healthy.
