I know it’s a Saturday, so I really appreciate you taking a moment to open this note.

As we close out the month, I just wanted to say thank you. I know we send a lot of emails, and I don’t expect you to give every time we reach out. But I want you to know that your support, in whatever form it takes, really does mean the world to me and to this campaign.

We’re up against a national GOP machine that’s already targeting CA-49 as a top pickup opportunity. My opponent was the top-raising Republican challenger in the country last quarter, and they’re coming into this race with real momentum.

That’s what makes hitting every benchmark we can so important. At the end of next month, we’re required to report our fundraising to the FEC – and all eyes will be on us to see if we have what it takes to protect this seat.

I just got off the phone with my finance director, and he tells me that with just a few hours before tonight’s deadline, we still need a few more donations from your area before we hit our end-of-month goal.
