Dear A.,

U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff slammed Hamas today for refusing to accept the American proposal, agreed to by Israel, for a ceasefire and hostage deal.

"I received the Hamas response to the United States’ proposal,"

Witkoff said . "It is totally unacceptable and only takes us backward."

"Hamas should accept the framework proposal we put forward as the basis for proximity talks, which we can begin immediately this coming week. That is the only way we can close a 60-day ceasefire deal in the coming days in which half of the living hostages and half of those who are deceased will come home to their families and in which we can have at the proximity talks substantive negotiations in good-faith to try to reach a permanent ceasefire."

According to reports, Hamas countered the American offer with a totally new demand for a ceasefire lasting up to seven years, along with several other changes to the framework.

Included among Hamas' outrageous demands is the cancellation of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation's aid distribution mechanism, which has successfully delivered over

3.8 million meals to Palestinians in just the past week , while cutting off a critical lifeline to Hamas.

Hamas is prolonging this war, refusing to free the hostages, and continuing this nightmare for millions of Israelis and Palestinians. The United States and the world must increase the pressure on Hamas to take the deal.

IAEA REPORT: Iran secretly advanced its nuclear program for decades; has enough high-enriched uranium to build 9 bombs

A revealing and unprecedented IAEA report issued today found that Iran has been secretly advancing its nuclear weapons program for decades, with undeclared nuclear material at three locations in Iran in flagrant violation of its commitments under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

The IAEA concluded that "these three locations, and other possible related locations, were part of an undeclared structured nuclear program carried out by Iran until the early 2000s and that some activities used undeclared nuclear material."

The nuclear watchdog also revealed that Iran's stockpile of 60%-enriched uranium has grown by roughly half, which is enough, if enriched further, for nine nuclear weapons.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a rare statement over Shabbat saying, "Despite countless warnings by the international community, Iran is totally determined to complete its nuclear weapons program."

"The report strongly reinforces what Israel has been saying for years," Netanyahu said, "the purpose of Iran's nuclear program is not peaceful."

"The international community must act now to stop Iran."

Israeli President Isaac Herzog

added , "The world must wake up and act decisively — before it’s too late. Stopping Iran’s nuclear capabilities is non-negotiable. This report’s unprecedented severity leaves no room for hesitation."

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt

confirmed today that Steve Witkoff sent a proposal to Iran's foreign minister outlining terms for a nuclear agreement.

“Special Envoy Witkoff has sent a detailed and acceptable proposal to the Iranian regime, and it’s in their best interest to accept it. Out of respect for the ongoing deal, the administration will not comment on details of the proposal to the media.”

As negotiations continue, America must demand Iran dismantle its nuclear program, increase the pressure on the regime, reassert a credible military threat, and put a deadline on the talks.
