[link removed] [[link removed]]I'm a pediatrician. I’m pissed. I’m scared. And I need your help to defeat Lindsey Graham in the U.S. Senate >> [[link removed]]
I’m not the “monsters-under-the-bed” kind of scared. I’m the “I’ve watched children suffer from preventable illness and injury while politicians do absolutely nothing” kind of scared.
I’ve treated kids who’ve been shot. Kids whose families struggle to afford their medications. Kids who live with mold that causes asthma attacks, miss school for climate disasters, and watch politicians use them as political pawns.
And now? Trump is causing chaos and Lindsey Graham is right by his side. And Medicaid — the program that keeps half our pediatric patients insured, healthy, and…alive — is on the chopping block to pay for tax breaks for billionaires.
So yeah, I never planned to run for Senate.
But I’m scared. I’m pissed. I’m motivated. And I’m 100% in.
I’m running for Senate in South Carolina to defeat Lindsey Graham and to fight for the kids no one in D.C. seems to be thinking about. So I need you with me on day one. We need to hit 10,000 donations before midnight to prove that this campaign can go the distance. Can I count on you? [[link removed]]

I’m running because the Republican Party, led by people like Lindsey Graham, is dismantling the very systems that keep our kids safe here in South Carolina.
I’m running because the issues I care about — children’s healthcare, vaccines, gun violence, public education, Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare — are under direct attack right now.
And I’m running because I consider it my professional duty as a pediatrician — to give children a strong voice at the national level. Too many are comfortable on the sidelines. That won’t work for me.
We need bold leaders who aren’t afraid to fight. I’m ready.
Even though the path will be hard, I know Lindsey Graham must be held accountable. He certainly doesn’t deserve a free pass back to D.C. for six more years.
That’s why I’m running for US Senate. To defeat Trump’s lapdog and fight for everyday Americans. But, I need your support today. Can you rush a split donation of $10 (or whatever you can spare) between Dr. Amy Acton for Governor and me to become a Founding Donor to my campaign? >> [[link removed]]
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be split immediately between Dr. Annie Andrews and Lisa Blunt Rochester:

I officially became the first woman and person of color to ever represent Delaware in the Senate. But even though our campaign is over, the work has just begun.
Will you help Bright Hope take center stage in the Senate?
