I know it’s getting late, but I wanted to write you this quick note.

Since my team reached out yesterday asking for your help ahead of tonight’s fundraising deadline, we saw a big surge of grassroots support from communities all across Kansas.

But the truth is, we’re still a little behind on our goal. Listen, that doesn’t mean the sky is falling. It’s not the end of the world. But it’s not where we want to be either.

Frankly, the numbers we’ll eventually report at the end of the quarter — and the amount of people who give — will say a lot about the strength of this movement. That’s why it’s so important we reach these monthly fundraising goals.

So can you pitch in whatever you can before midnight to help us catch up? Every dollar really goes a long way.
