While Republicans push dangerous legislation to appease their donors and extreme base, EMILYs List women are on the frontlines fighting for their communities:
- Rep. Mikie Sherrill (NJ-GOV) and Rep. Emilia Sykes (OH-13) reintroduced the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act to reaffirm access to emergency abortion care, after the Department of Justice dropped a case that sought to protect it.
- Sec. of State Jocelyn Benson (MI-GOV) is protecting elections and the personal data of Michigan voters while Michigan House Republicans play political games and undermine the security of future elections.
- State Sen. Ghazala Hashmi (VA-LG) is protecting reproductive care in Virginia — leading bold legislation to shield health care workers from extremist attacks.
This is what leadership looks like. These women don't just make promises, they deliver progress.
And it's on us to have their backs. Not just in November, and not just when it’s easy, but every day, all year long.
