Friend, we’ve got just a few hours until our end of month deadline at midnight tonight.

That deadline comes at a moment unlike any other in our nation’s history.

I served in Iraq as a Marine at the height of the war, about 20 years ago. All those years ago, I never thought I’d see the President of the United States blatantly ignore the Supreme Court. Never thought I’d see Trump getting ready to turn the 250th anniversary of the creation of the U.S. Army into a birthday parade for himself — the kind of thing a dictator would do. I signed up to defend our Constitution. To make sure exactly that kind of thing never happened at home.

This is authoritarianism. It is here. And we need to stand up now or risk losing the rights and liberties we were born with.

You know what’s happening, but most people still don’t. If we’re going to build a movement that stops and reverses Trump’s power grab, we have to start reaching the people who aren’t reading the news every day.

That’s why I’m trying to meet and speak to people beyond just cable news. It’s why I’m doing podcasts and social media, interviews with local and national papers. It’s why I’m doing town halls in Arizona, in Pennsylvania, and hopefully more soon.

That’s what I did in my campaign. It’s what I’ve been doing since I got elected. And I’m going to keep doing it as long as I have to until we start to break through to people.
