John, when I
see a problem, I don't pass the buck. I step up and I get to work.
My name is Abigail Spanberger. In 2018, I ran for Congress after Donald
Trump and my Republican representative attempted to repeal the Affordable
Care Act. Now, as I run for Governor of Virginia, Republicans' budget bill
puts Medicaid on the chopping block.
I couldn't sit on the sidelines then, and I won't today.
My promise in this campaign is the same promise I've always made: to put
Virginians first.
That's what I'm doing as I travel the Commonwealth and hear from people on
these issues. But we all know the best way to tackle problems is not alone
— it's as a team.

split a contribution between our campaign and Heartland Patriots today. In
a close race, a race that could become the most expensive in Virginia's
history, every dollar is appreciated.
