Hi John, it’s Jane. In a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a donation to support the critical work we’re doing at JanePAC before our end-of-month fundraising deadline at midnight. [[link removed]] But first, let me explain.

I turned 87 this past December. People ask me when I plan to slow down. The truth is, I can’t imagine doing anything else. When you know the stakes, stepping away just isn’t an option. Not when everything — and I mean everything — is on the line for our planet.

Over the years, I’ve thrown myself into this work with everything I have. Sometimes that means marching in the streets or getting arrested for civil disobedience. Other times, it meant sitting across from elected officials and telling them the blunt truth, whether they wanted to hear it or not.

Each of those moments shaped me. But they’ve also taught me that protest alone isn’t enough to shift the course we’re on. We need people in power who are willing to act.

That’s why I started JanePAC. I wanted to help elect leaders who aren’t beholden to fossil fuel executives. People with the courage to do what’s right — not just what’s easy. And right now, the clock is ticking faster than ever.

The Trump administration has been relentless. Every week, there’s a new rollback or giveaway to Big Oil, a new assault on communities that are already fighting to survive. It’s hard to keep up, and even harder to accept that this is happening while so many of our institutions remain silent.

That silence is what we’re working to break.

We’re supporting candidates across the country who are stepping up where the federal government has failed and bringing climate justice into city halls, school boards, statehouses, and beyond. One of the biggest fights this year is in Virginia, where every seat in the House of Delegates is on the ballot this November — and where JanePAC has proudly endorsed 11 climate champions ready to meet the moment.

We helped flip the Virginia House in 2023, and now Republicans are doing everything they can to take it back.

It’s a fight we can’t lose. And it’s one of many reasons why I’m not slowing down.

JanePAC is organizing in key districts, lifting up bold climate candidates, and building the kind of grassroots momentum that can withstand anything the fossil fuel lobby throws at us. So if you've been waiting for the perfect time to chip in, then this is YOUR moment. You can use my personal donation link to join our team of grassroots donors by chipping in before midnight tonight. [[link removed]]
