Hi friends,
I want to be transparent with you about something that actually matters a lot, but that I’ve put on the back burner these last few months – fundraising for 2026.
I’ll admit it’s been difficult to think about everything that goes into winning in 2026 when our democracy and institutions are under constant attack right now . While I’ve been doing everything I can to fight back and defend our democracy (more on that below), I can’t ignore the fact that fundraising does matter and does have a direct impact on whether we win or lose next November.
So as we close out the month and enter the homestretch of Q2, will you chip in a few dollars to help me take on House Republicans and build up our resources for the fight ahead? [[link removed]]
Over the past four months, I’ve been focused on fighting back against Trump’s lawless, immoral actions and the Republicans who are facilitating (and speeding up!) our country’s destruction.
I’ve hosted town halls to hear directly from my constituents about their concerns and the ways this administration is impacting them (thank you to so many of you for attending!), and I hosted a “Know Your Rights” training for anyone concerned about interactions with ICE and federal law enforcement.
I’ve introduced legislation like the Delete DOGE Act to stop DOGE from slashing and burning our government, the IVF for Military Families Act , which would require IVF treatment to be covered for service members and their families, and the Protect U.S. National Security Act to prevent government funds from being used to eliminate USAID.
And I’m not stopping anytime soon.
But I *am* asking for your help to make sure all my focus can remain on this work instead of raising money.
