Hi friend,

I’m sorry for reaching out to you on a Saturday – but tonight’s deadline is too important to miss. If you don’t have much time, will you chip in $3 now toward our end-of-month benchmark? If you have a minute, I hope you’ll keep reading about why this matters.

I’ve spent countless hours criss-crossing Central and Southern Illinois, meeting with folks from all walks of life. Something I’m hearing a lot recently is just how fed up people are with Washington.

My colleagues and I are in Congress to represent the thousands of hard-working people in our communities. At least, that’s how it’s supposed to be.

Nowadays, House Republicans are more concerned with following the Trump agenda than with what working families need. There’s no better example than the recent budget bill – that will strip billions of dollars from Medicaid, food assistance programs like SNAP, and more.

I’m fed up with the GOP chaos, and I know you are too. It’s why it’s so important that Democrats retake the House majority next year.

Only three seats separate power, and in close races like mine, we can’t let up for a moment. Early momentum will be key to protecting this seat so Republicans are held accountable.

Will you chip in $3 before tonight’s end-of-month deadline to keep IL-13 blue and flip the House majority? Our important work for families in Illinois and beyond depends on it.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend,

Nikki
