We can’t downplay the stakes of this moment.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is under siege like never before. Veterans are being fired. The people who serve them are being fired.

People who wore our country’s uniform are being forced to wait longer or completely go without care for chronic diseases, old wounds, and their mental health. And it’s only projected to get worse, with plans to fire 83,000 additional staff at the VA.

But that’s not all. Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon is redirecting $1 billion meant to improve Army barracks to instead fund deploying our Troops to the U.S.-Mexico border. We’re pulling money from fixing black mold, broken plumbing, and dangerous living conditions for the Troops to send them to the border for some ridiculous, needless show of force.

Trump’s Administration isn’t just screwing Veterans. Between Trump’s birthday parade, the assaults on religious liberty in the Military, and funding photo ops over the health and safety of the Troops, Trump’s kicking them to the curb, too.

We’ve got to do everything we can to stop them.

VoteVets has spent millions of dollars taking the fight to the Trump Administration and Republicans around the country this year. We’ve got plans to do even more. But right now, our fundraising is plummeting.
