I often say that a goal without a deadline is just a dream, and I really
live that motto.

As a professor and a parent, I experience nearly every day why deadlines
are important. Whether it’s getting my kids to do their chores or keeping
my students on track to complete big projects, I rely on having clear
milestones.

A political campaign is no different.

This month, we set a fundraising goal of $100,000 over email, and today is
our deadline to get it done.

I treat every donation as an investment in our democracy. You deserve to
