Dear John,

This World No Tobacco Day (WNTD), we are joining the World Health Organization (WHO) and public health advocates from across the world to raise awareness about the harmful tactics of the tobacco and vaping industries.

This year’s WNTD campaign aims to reveal the tactics used by the tobacco and vaping industries to make their dangerous products attractive to youth. Some of these strategies include: candy and fruit flavors, targeted marketing on social media, and products designed to deceive parents. 

Tobacco and vaping companies continue to reinvent their products to appeal to kids, getting them hooked early to create lifelong customers. These efforts undermine public health and target our kids! 

We must do more to protect our youth from the industry and their harmful products! 

Our incredible volunteers and partners are speaking out in multiple languages — reflecting the global and diverse voices united in this fight.
