Last week, I had to put my foot down and reject an outrageous budget bill that hands tax breaks to billionaires while doing nothing to help working families – and the far-right wasted no time spreading disinformation about my vote.

We’ve seen these kinds of misleading attack ads before, and I won’t let them distract me from what’s most important: delivering common-sense, bipartisan solutions.

But at the same time, we can’t take anything for granted now. Facing attacks this early in the election cycle is a troubling sign of what’s to come, and we must be ready.
