It wasn’t just on the campaign trail. On "Meet the Press" earlier this month, Donald Trump actually said he would veto the budget bill if it includes cuts to Medicaid. Look it up:

Then last week, MAGA Republicans and their leader, Donald Trump, passed the most extreme budget in the history of our country. They gutted Medicaid, potentially leaving millions of Americans without care at the expense of massive tax breaks for billionaires.
