Friend, we're almost to the end of the month, but I can't say the same about our progress toward our monthly fundraising goal. Can you chip in $5 right now to get us back on track and then let me explain what Republicans are doing to reproductive rights?

There is no low Republicans won't sink to if it means getting Donald Trump his $4.5 trillion in tax cuts for billionaires.

Not only does that include kicking nearly 14 million Americans off their health insurance, but Republicans are also trying to sneak in a provision to DEFUND Planned Parenthood.

More than half of Planned Parenthood's patients use Medicaid and related programs, funds which are already ineligible to cover abortion care. Whether it’s cancer screenings or getting birth control, for many, Planned Parenthood is their only option for affordable health care near home.

So the Republican plan is to gut Medicaid to defund Planned Parenthood – and it'll rip away millions of people's ability to get affordable checkups, cancer treatments, and lifesaving reproductive care.

Defunding Planned Parenthood means defunding basic health care.

Friend, Americans have made it clear time and again that they do not want politicians interfering in their health care.

And it's pretty simple: Steadfast commitment to speaking out like you have eventually leads to the wins we need. Look, I've beaten back Republican attacks on reproductive rights before. The last time Republicans tried to defund Planned Parenthood, they FAILED – I personally made sure of that.

So I need you to know that I'm going to keep fighting with everything I've got to stop them from succeeding this time. But I can't do it on my own.

Meeting – or even surpassing – our fundraising goal would be an incredible show of strength to the GOP that we have what it takes to fight back. That we will NOT back down when it comes to reproductive rights.
