John,
Tax information should never be weaponized for deportation.
Undocumented immigrants pay tens of billions of dollars in taxes each year, trusting that that information will be protected from any other use. In fact, in 2022 alone, undocumented immigrants paid $96.7 billion in taxes.1
Now, Trump is weaponizing the IRS against these same individuals who contribute more to our economy than many major corporations and their millionaire CEOs. The IRS reached a data sharing agreement with ICE last month with the intent of targeting undocumented immigrants.2
This action will jeopardize the safety of immigrant neighbors and push undocumented communities further into the shadows while empowering exploitative employers with even more leverage to mistreat and abuse undocumented workers.
Send a message to Congress now demanding our senators and representatives stop the IRS from collaborating with ICE.

The Trump administration’s targeting of mixed-status and undocumented families has always been about cruelty, not justice. Illegally deporting people with protected status to torture prisons abroad and deporting citizen children without due process―all to incite fear and punish those who are seeking a better life for themselves and their families.
The administration is quick to turn a blind eye when millionaires and billionaires dodge taxes—but when undocumented workers do their civic duty and pay what they owe in taxes, that information is now being weaponized against them.
Click here to send a message to your senators and representative and demand they take action to stop the IRS / ICE collaboration.
Thank you for taking action today,
