Tomorrow is a critically important end-of-month deadline, and it’s hard to overstate the magnitude of this last month’s events. Historic victories in DC on the one hand; nonstop harassment from radical left-wing Indivisible activists on the other.

I did, however, want to give you some perspective on the state of play. We have now undercut a large part of Newsom’s abominable “legacy”: his gas-car ban, his soft-on-crime policies, his homeless-rights initiatives, his boys-in-girls sports absurdity, his illegal-immigrant-healthcare disaster. As a result, he is absolutely furious and bent on revenge.

The success of our Newsom-proofing plan has reduced him to a place of irrelevance and made his 2028 presidential plans seem all-the-more delusional. Meanwhile, we are gradually starting to see tangible improvements across California, and the emergence of a coalition for common sense that will lead to even more sweeping change.

That is why, of all places, the likes of AOC, Bernie, Eric Swalwell, and seemingly every other Democrat House member have converged on my district to rail against me – or, in truth, to rail against and attack us. It is our movement that they are deathly afraid of.

But you may ask: Didn’t Newsom try everything last year – even sending his own extremely well-funded “Deputy Secretary” to run against me – and we still won a decisive victory in a race Democrats thought was theirs? We did.

History suggests that the party that holds the White House almost always has an uphill battle in midterm elections. So Newsom and the National Democrats have become even more aggressive in coming after us.

They have not forgotten that we were the district that fired Nancy Pelosi as Speaker. They certainly have not forgotten the enormous wins we have gotten in DC in recent weeks and months. And they can see that we have many more ahead.

They believe this is a now-or-never moment, their one remaining chance to stop us from changing the trajectory of our state and country in a profound and lasting way. And this end-of-month deadline is critical to making sure they don’t succeed.
