My name is Raja Krishnamoorthi, and I’m officially running for the US Senate. 

When times became tough, my parents moved to the United States when I was a baby in hope of the American Dream. 

They received public housing and SNAP assistance to help our family get by and move us into the middle class. 

And now, Donald Trump wants to gut that assistance as well as critical programs like Social Security and Medicaid.

John, Trump’s first 100 days have been marked by chaos, confusion, and destruction. 

So I REFUSE to sit by idly while he ravages our Democracy and makes life harder for everyday Americans.

As part of the House Oversight Committee, I’ve been a part of critical efforts to hold Trump and his MAGA GOP accountable. 

I even voted to impeach Donald Trump TWICE because I believe in the power of our Democracy. 

And now, we’re at a turning point in our Democracy and we need fighters like me in the Senate now more than ever before.
