Texas Legislature Approves Bills to Protect 
Religious Liberty in Public Schools

The Texas Legislature recently advanced several bills that would
protect religious freedom for students, parents, teachers and all
public-school employees. They are now with Gov. Greg Abbott waiting on
his signature.

Last Year, Park Officials Tried to Stop a Memorial Day Mass. This
Year, The Mass Was Part of The Program.

In 2024, government officials told the Knights of Columbus they would
not be able to hold their Memorial Day Mass. One year later, the
National Park Service asked the Knights to include the religious
service and listed it on the online calendar.
