There's fun for all the family at the Sausage & Cider Festival, with character meet and greets, bubble shows, a circus workshop, and kids disco.

Chris Moyles - best known for hosting the legendary BBC Radio One Breakfast Show - will be joining the line-up, alongside special guests Barry from Eastenders, Kevin & Perry, and Big John. There will also be incredible tribute performances to: Mumford & Sons, Fleetwood Mac, Oasis, Madness, Stereophonics, and Kings of Leon.

All of this takes place alongside dozens of sausage and cider stalls, a festival market, eating competitions, axe throwing, and a silent disco.

The line-up includes the UK's number one country band, One Night in Nashville, as well as The Folly Brothers, Outpost Drive, Whisky Cure, Lincoln Skins, and tributes to Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen and Shania Twain. The Introducing Stage will also feature the next big names in UK country music.

As well as this, take part in line dancing, American BBQ and street food, rodeo bull rides, country music fancy dress, axe throwing, and tin can alley.

Tomorrow: Green Hustle Festival

Green Hustle Festival

Music, food, fashion, art, and environmental action will come together at this year's Green Hustle Festival. Activities range from nature, sport, and a local makers market to live performances, hands-on art, and wellbeing.

On the main stage, the action kicks off at 11am with a line-up including reggae sound system V Rocket International, bhangra pop bangers from Hit the Dohl, and a Slow Fashion Catwalk.

The event is free, with pay-as-you-feel meals available at the Himmah Community Kitchen.

Save the date for Goose Fair! Nottingham's biggest event is set to return for another ten-day extravaganza this autumn, and welcome half a million visitors to the Forest Recreation Ground.

With more than 400 rides, stalls and attractions and thrills aplenty for all ages, Goose Fair is one of the largest travelling funfairs in Europe and has been staged annually in Nottingham since at least 1284.

The Illegal Eagles make a welcome return to Nottingham with their new Desperado Tour, as they celebrate the phenomenal career and musical legacy of this legendary west coast country rock band. Featuring the very best from the Eagles’ catalogue of classics, as well as deeper cuts from their iconic 1973 album, Desperado.

The Illegal Eagles will be joined by special guests Nearly Dan. Described as the spirit and sound of Steely Dan, they’ll be bringing the meticulously crafted groove and allusive lyrical style of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker in a set featuring many Steely Dan classics, such as Do It Again and Reelin’ in the Years, as well as deep cuts from Dan’s incredible musical catalogue.

The exhibition showcases six newly commissioned works created exclusively for Nottingham Castle, in the company of prints, drawings and photographs from Nottingham’s own Collection, including the iconic, large-scale painting of the Major Oak (1882) by Nottingham-born artist Andrew MacCallum (1821-1902).
