The Pro Life Campaign’s Positive Pathways Campaign is all about ensuring that women facing an unplanned pregnancy are not kept in the dark prior to an abortion about alternatives and the support available should they decide to keep their baby.
Our new instant message campaign to politicians has been running for three weeks now and lots of ready-to-go e-messages are making their way to TDs and Senators every day.
Please take ONE MINUTE to add your voice to this important campaign by clicking on your constituency below to send the ready-to-go message to your local Oireachtas members.
We’ve met with a large number of TDs and Senators in recent weeks in the Dáil to press home the message of our campaign. The reception we’ve been receiving is very positive - much more so than a few years back.

Senator O’Reilly’s forward-looking speech at March for Life
She’s only been in the Seanad since February, but already Senator Sarah O’Reilly is making a difference! It was terrific too that she was one of the guest speakers at this year’s March for Life In Dublin.
Take a few minutes to watch her hopeful down-to-earth address at the march. It’s so encouraging to see the new pro-life faces in the Oireachtas, joining with existing pro-life representatives to strengthen the push for change.

France’s National Assembly passes pro-euthanasia bill
France’s National Assembly voted 305 to 199 on Tuesday in favor of a bill to legalise assisted suicide and euthanasia - an outcome that pro-life advocates argue will diminish respect for life and put pressure on vulnerable individuals to end their lives prematurely.
The legislation permits adults with ‘incurable illnesses’ to access life-ending medication under specific conditions, signaling a major change in France’s approach to end-of-life issues. The bill must still be approved by the French Senate.
The bill applies to individuals over the age of 18 who are French citizens or legal residents, and who meet the established criteria.
In tandem, lawmakers unanimously passed a separate bill aimed at improving palliative care. President Emmanuel Macron has pledged €1.1 billion over the next ten years to enhance support and services for those nearing the end of life.
However, the assisted dying bill has drawn sharp criticism from pro-life organisations and religious leaders, who have labeled it an “anthropological rupture.”
The French Senate is expected to debate and vote on the proposed legislation later this autumn.
