Game and Fish seeks information on twelve pronghorn illegally killed near Kemmerer

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking information on twelve pronghorn illegally shot and left to waste north of Kemmerer in antelope hunt area 93. The Kemmerer Game Warden received a report on April 27 from a member of the public who discovered multiple dead pronghorn while recreating on the Ham’s Fork Road north of Viva Naughton Reservoir.

Gov. Gordon donates wild bison license for wildlife conservation

For the seventh year, Governor Mark Gordon is donating a wild bison license to support Wyoming wildlife conservation. The license will be issued through a random raffle open only to Wyoming residents. Tickets are available for purchase beginning May 1, and will be available through June 13.

Public input sought on proposed changes to landowner licenses

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is hosting a series of public meetings to discuss proposed regulation changes, including Chapter 44 Section 8, which covers landowner licenses. The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission has proposed changes to the regulation, which provides qualifying landowners the opportunity to hunt elk, deer, antelope and turkey in exchange for providing habitat resources to these species. Meetings are scheduled throughout the state through early June, and online comments are open through June 10.
