Dear A.,

Israel has once again

accepted a U.S. proposal to pause the fighting in Gaza in exchange for the release of hostages — Hamas remains the obstacle to a deal.

The proposal offered by U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff would

reportedly see the release of 10 living Israeli hostages and the return of 18 deceased hostages in exchange for a 60-day ceasefire.

The terms agreed to by Israel would also reportedly

include the release of 125 Palestinian terrorists serving life sentences and 1,111 Gazans detained since the start of the war.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed today that “Special Envoy Witkoff and the President submitted a ceasefire proposal to Hamas that Israel backed and supported."

“We hope that a cease fire in Gaza will take place so we can return all of the hostages home, and that’s been a priority for this administration from the beginning,” Leavitt added.

Hamas is solely responsible for the war it brought to the people of Gaza. It can end the war tomorrow if it surrenders and frees all 58 hostages.

Nearly 1 million meals distributed in Gaza on third day of Gaza Humanitarian Foundation operation

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) opened a third distribution site today and distributed nearly 1 million meals to Palestinians, as the new mechanism to cut out Hamas from aid delivery continues to scale.

The GHF said approximately 997,920 meals were distributed today, bringing the total number of meals delivered this week to 1,838,182.

"Operations will continue scaling, with plans to build additional sites across Gaza, including in the northern region, in the weeks ahead," GHF said in a statement.

The GHF is a new mechanism to provide aid directly to Gazans while cutting Hamas out of the process. This is a win for the people of Gaza, and a loss for those who enable Hamas.

Houthis launch another ballistic missile at Israel, intercepted by Arrow defense system

Air raid sirens blared in Tel Aviv and across central Israel at 9:30 pm tonight, as Iran-backed Houthi terrorists launched another ballistic missile at Israeli cities.

Once again, the remarkable Arrow system that we lobby for together tracked the incoming missile and intercepted it before it could cause death and destruction.

It was the 42nd ballistic missile fired at Israel by the Houthis since March alone.

AIPAC has lobbied Democrats and Republicans in Washington to support and fund the Arrow program for more than three decades.

While Iran and its terror proxies try to kill Israelis and cause unimaginable damage in Israel, the people of Israel are better protected thanks to the work that you've helped make possible through your support of AIPAC.

New Poll: 57% of likely U.S. voters support military action against Iran's nuclear program

A new poll shows that Americans are overwhelmingly concerned about Iran’s nuclear weapons program, and that a majority would support an American military strike to end the threat.

The Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey found that 77% of voters are concerned that Iran may be developing a nuclear weapon.

57% of voters would support military action by the United States to destroy Iran’s nuclear weapons program, including 28% who would strongly support it.

The Rasmussen poll echoes similar sentiments from voters in

last month's Harvard CAPS / Harris Poll , which showed 71% of Americans favoring Iran's nuclear facilities being destroyed, and 58% believing the U.S. should support Israel in airstrikes to destroy Iran’s nuclear weapons facilities.

Baby of pregnant terror victim dies after fighting for his life for two weeks

The newborn baby of Tzeela Gez, who was shot and killed in a Hamas terror attack in the northern West Bank earlier this month,

died last night in the hospital after doctors fought to keep him alive for the past 15 days.

Gez was shot and fatally wounded as her husband was driving her to the hospital to give birth on May 14.

Tzeela was rushed to the hospital after the attack, and her baby, named Ravid Chaim, was delivered by emergency C-section.

Hamas praised the horrific terror attack. On Saturday, the IDF targeted and killed the terrorist.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said there were “no words that can console the murder of a newborn baby together with his mother.” President Isaac Herzog said the entire nation was “embracing Gez’s husband Hananel and praying for him.”
