This past week, I spent two back-to-back nights in all-night hearings as House Republicans pushed through their budget bill.

Instead of just voting “no,” I showed up with solutions. I introduced amendments to:

🩺 Protect affordable healthcare by making enhanced ACA subsidies permanent – so families don’t face skyrocketing premiums or lose coverage in 2025.

🌊 Defend the Great Lakes by securing continued funding for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.

💡 Support Michigan’s rail and clean energy projects to help create jobs while lowering emissions and strengthening our rural communities.

Meanwhile, Republicans pushed through a bill that slashes food assistance and threatens our clean water – all while giving massive tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations.

They did it with A SINGLE VOTE. That’s why majorities matter. That’s why 2026 matters–and that’s why YOU matter.

I can’t do this alone. National Republican mega-donors are lining up to flip this district and dismantle everything we’ve fought for.
