I want to give you a reminder of who I work for: YOU.

It’s the people of WA-08 who elected me to be their representative, and honoring your values in Congress is a job I take very seriously. I work every day to listen to your concerns, fight for our shared needs, and ensure your priorities don’t go unheard and unacknowledged.

That means I fought like heck to keep Republicans in Congress from passing their reckless cuts to Medicaid – Apple Health – that will have disastrous consequences for low income families, people with disabilities, those in nursing homes, rural hospitals, and our entire healthcare system in order to fund a gigantic tax break for billionaires. It means that when Trump wages tariff wars that drive up prices and harm Washington families, farmers, and growers, I stand ferociously against them. It means I fight back against greedy corporations trying to price gouge us. And when Congressional Republicans bring a bill that allows oil and gas companies to pay millions to bypass environmental laws, I vote “hell, no.”

I have a track record of delivering for the people of WA-08, working with anyone if it is good for my constituents. But this Congress feels different. This time I’m working just to defend the people I represent! We’re going up against a MAGA Republican party that operates in lock-step with the Trump administration that gives handouts to his billionaire friends and throws you under the bus. That’s why I’m dead serious about showing Republicans that we have every intention of holding this seat and flipping the House blue in 2026 to get our government back on track and working for the people.

We’re facing our May end-of-month deadline in just 48 hours. We set a goal to raise $20,000, and I need the help of every single member of this grassroots team to reach it. This is our chance to prove just how serious we are about keeping a representative who cares, listens, and delivers in WA-08. Can I count on you to chip in $5 to help us close the gap?
