Yesterday, I held a town hall in Newport.

Over 100 of you joined us to share your stories, thoughts, and concerns. I share many of them.

Trump’s cruel budget bill cuts food assistance and Medicaid, putting the health care of millions of Americans at risk, but Republicans are shamelessly pushing this bill forward regardless. The folks who came out to yesterday’s town hall expressed their anger, worry, and fear about the future.

Vermonters — and all Americans — deserve SO much better.
