Last week, House Republicans voted to pass Trump's disastrous budget bill that paves the way for more fossil fuel handouts at the expense of the health and safety of our families. Now it's on to the Senate.
But you can help stop it! Fill out your name and number to be automatically connected with your senators to demand they oppose this bill.

Friend, we're already well on our way to building a future powered by renewable energy. Thanks to massive climate and clean energy legislation -- which grassroots advocates like you fought to pass under President Biden -- clean energy projects created over 400,000 good-paying jobs, slashed pollution, and brought billions of dollars into local economies over the last few years.
Trump and congressional Republicans are moving quickly to roll back our progress to pad the profits of the dying fossil fuel industry. Because there's already splintering among Republicans in the House and Senate, we have a real chance to protect the clean energy and environmental protections our families rely on.
The reckless budget bill would provide outrageous giveaways to the fossil fuel industry:
- Kills the American clean energy economy by gutting clean energy incentives for wind and solar power, increasing everyday costs for working families.
- Creates a brazen new “pay to-play” bribery scheme for polluters to pay a fee to bypass environmental reviews and get automatic approval for fracked gas pipelines, liquefied methane gas, and other fossil fuel projects.
- Eliminates popular programs that protect the health and safety of communities from climate impacts, methane emissions, and other pollution.
- Boosts big oil and gas company profits by letting them drill and frack at bargain-basement prices, including in the Arctic, while robbing taxpayers blind.
We need to make it loud and clear that our elected representatives in D.C. can't get away with it!
Every person who cares about environmental and health protections can make a difference. Every call matters.

Here's a brief script you can use when you call:
Hi, my name is [name] and I live in [city and state]. I'm calling today to urge you to protect vital clean energy programs, preserve our public lands, and defend other essential health and services by opposing the budget reconciliation bill. These programs save money, bring jobs to our state and protect the air we breathe and water we drink. These things are not worth sacrificing for billionaire tax breaks."
When you call, you'll be automatically connected to one of your Senators. If you call a second time, you'll be connected with the other senator from your state.
We know it can feel intimidating to call your member of Congress, but if they don’t hear from us it is easier for them to ram through this legislation.
The House passed its dreadful version of this budget bill overnight because they know how unpopular it is. Yet, thanks to pressure from advocates like you, every Democratic member voted against the bill, and Republicans were forced to remove an amendment that would have greenlit the sale of hundreds of thousands of acres of federal public land in the West.
And with Republicans in the Senate deeply divided on many of the worst cuts -- especially on incentives for renewable energy, Medicaid, and SNAP -- each vote matters. Will you call your Senator now to demand they vote no now?
