More than 1 million veterans from every corner of the labor movement are union members, and thousands more are retirees from good union jobs.
Right now, veteran jobs, health care and essential services from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) are all under attack, leaving thousands of veterans under threat of delays and gaps in care. Veterans didn’t sacrifice for our country just to be left out in the cold by Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and Project 2025 cuts.
But in solidarity, there is strength.
That’s why we’re proud to support a coalition of veterans organizations that are rallying next week in Washington, D.C. It’s time to show up for our union veteran brothers, sisters and siblings and defend veterans’ benefits and VA workers against attacks from DOGE billionaires.
