Love swimming at your local beach, river or lake, but hate seeing it polluted? We can help you get your favourite swim spot protected! 💦
If your waterway is regularly used by swimmers, has toilets nearby, and can be safely accessed, you can apply for bathing water designation. This legally protects it from pollution and you'll get data on the water quality.
Together, we can change this. Hit the button below to find out more – we’ll support you every step of the way!

Not a swimmer but want to protect your waterway?
|
Perhaps you’re a surfer, kayaker, paddleboarder, angler, sailor, toe-dipper, dog walker, or love your wild waters another way...
Currently, only swimmers are covered by the Bathing Water Regulations. But we believe that EVERY water user deserves to be protected. No one should have to worry about getting sick from the water.
If this sounds like you, join the #imnotabather campaign. Simply share a photo of how you use the water with a ‘I’m not a bather’ sign. Get creative and email it to us!
Together, we can show the government that every water user deserves to be protected from pollution. ✊
