Today, I spent the day at the range with my 9-year-old son. It wasn’t his first time with the M&P 15-22, but it was his first time shooting a pistol—the Ruger SR22. We focused on the basics: safe handling, muzzle awareness, and doing things the right way—without overwhelming him. Just keeping it fun and focused.
I also got some time in with my carry gun (SIG P365XL), recorded a few drills with the Shooters Global Timer 2 I’m reviewing, ran the Bodyguard 2.0 with the new XS Sights I installed over the weekend, and put some rounds through the KelTec PR57. More on all of that soon.
