Dear A.,
Today marks 600 days since Hamas broke a ceasefire, stormed Israeli communities with thousands of bloodthirsty terrorists, massacred 1,200 people, and kidnapped 251 men, women, and children to Gaza.
600 days since October 7, 58 people are still held hostage in an unimaginable horror in Gaza, including 4 Americans. They are being starved, tortured, and abused by their Hamas captors.
In a new interview with CNN, former hostage Omer Shem Tov

describes being intentionally starved by Hamas during his 505 days in captivity, forced to survive in the tunnels on merely a biscuit and a few sips of salty water each day while the terrorists hoarded food nearby:
“I remember walking by another room in the tunnel, seeing a big amount of food…huge amounts. So I was being starved. There’s no question about it.”
Israeli President Issac Herzog

called on the international community to "form a united front" and demand the immediate release of the remaining hostages.
In another showcase of Israeli defiance, former hostage Liri Albag — who was abducted from the Nahal Oz military outpost and was released after being held captive by Hamas for 477 days — declared that

she wants to rejoin the IDF and is preparing to return to service.
600 days into this war, Israel is still battling enemies on seven fronts. America's support for our ally remains essential to ensuring Israel has the resources it needs to fight the terrorists, free the hostages, protect its families, and ensure another October 7 can never happen again.

Gaza Humanitarian Foundation delivers 840,000 meals on second day of operations, nearly doubling yesterday's total
The U.S.-led Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) completed its second day of operations by providing more than 14,000 parcels of food to Palestinians in Gaza.
During its first two days operating, with just two of its four initial distribution sites open, the GHF distributed over 22,000 food boxes including more than 1.2 million meals. Each parcel is intended to feed an average of 5.5 people for 3.5 days.

I encourage you to read and share this new AIPAC memo detailing the aid program, which we sent to Capitol Hill offices this afternoon.
The GHF is a new mechanism to provide aid directly to Gazans while cutting Hamas out of the process. This is a win for the people of Gaza, and a loss for those who enable Hamas.
Hamas is doing everything it can to sabotage the aid program,

reportedly creating fake social media accounts impersonating the GHF and urging Gazans not to pick up the food. The terror group understands that if the new mechanism is successful, Hamas will lose a key source of funding and a main lever of control over the residents of Gaza.
Today, people in Gaza stormed a Hamas warehouse and found it

stocked with food and flour hoarded away from Palestinians. Hamas opened fire on the Gazans, reportedly killing five people.
Meanwhile, Israel is continuing to facilitate aid through the prior delivery system while the GHF progresses towards full operation.

Another 121 aid trucks entered Gaza today. 876 trucks have entered the Strip since May 19.

Historic breakthrough: IDF used new laser system to intercept dozens of Hezbollah drones last year
Hezbollah fired thousands of rockets and explosive-laden drones at Israeli communities last year. Today, the IDF revealed that it used

a new laser interception system to successfully shoot down dozens of Hezbollah drones and save countless lives.
The revolutionary laser system is a lower-powered version of the Iron Beam interceptor, which is in development and expected to be delivered to the IDF later this year.
“Throughout the current war, the IAF, including its Aerial Defense Array soldiers, studied and deployed the laser systems in the field, achieving outstanding interception rates that saved civilian lives and protected national assets,” the IDF and Defense Ministry said.
“Laser interception systems will provide an additional layer within Israel’s multi-tiered air defense array...We will continue to advance this technology and deliver world-leading systems and capabilities to the IDF, turning vision into security in air, sea, land, and across every dimension,” added Dr. Daniel Gold, Head of Israel's Directorate of Defense Research & Development.
AIPAC has lobbied Congress to enact more than $1.2 billion in funding for Iron Beam and other directed energy programs, which could transform Israel's defense capabilities and protect Israelis at a fraction of the current cost.

PM Netanyahu confirms: We killed Mohammed Sinwar
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
[link removed]
confirmed in a speech to the Knesset today that Israel eliminated Mohammed Sinwar, the brother of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and a key architect of the October 7 massacre.
“We changed the face of the Middle East, we pushed the terrorists from our territories, we entered the Gaza Strip with force, we eliminated tens of thousands of terrorists, we eliminated [Mohammad] Deif, [Ismail] Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar and Mohammed Sinwar,” the prime minister said.
Sinwar and more than 10 other senior Hamas officials were operating in a bunker beneath the European Hospital in Gaza when they were targeted by the IDF on May 13.
The commander of Hamas' Rafah Brigade, Mohammad Shabana, was also reportedly killed in the strike.
Witkoff says U.S. to propose new Gaza deal terms
Special Envoy Steve Witkoff
[link removed]
said today that he will propose another offer to Hamas to free hostages in exchange for a pause in fighting.
“We’re on the precipice of sending out a new term sheet that hopefully will be delivered later today,” he told reporters in the Oval Office. “The president is going to review it.”
Israeli Mossad chief David Barnea and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer met with Witkoff this week in Washington to discuss the terms of the proposal.
On Monday, Witkoff slammed Hamas for continuing to reject previous U.S. offers, saying that, “What I have seen from Hamas is disappointing and completely unacceptable...The deal is on the table. Hamas should take it."
