But this isn’t just a race about party labels. It’s about securing the kind of leadership Gulfport deserves.
Sonya has already delivered for Gulfport during her time in the state house, securing infrastructure investments, fixing broken systems, and making sure public schools received a share of state lottery revenue. She’s running for mayor to do even more — to solve the city’s water billing crisis, streamline services, and fight for safe, thriving neighborhoods.
