Friend — Last week we learned that AIPAC was reportedly running a poll in my district to test the waters of supporting a primary challenger against me.
This is a serious warning shot.
After this news broke, I met with my team to discuss our strategy to counter AIPAC and win this campaign.
I know that the best way to fight back is to start investing in our outreach right now — not waiting until it’s too late. That means paying for online ads, hiring canvassers and organizers, sending out mailers, growing our contact lists, and more.
But the problem is that the money for additional investments just isn’t our budget right now. So I made a difficult decision, and approved some new investments anyway, because I made a bet that this team would step up and help us afford the campaign we need to run.
