A blue trifecta in Virginia is within reach, John.
For nearly a decade, Sister District has invested deeply in Virginia—electing strong candidates, mobilizing volunteers, supporting local organizers, and building lasting Democratic power across the Commonwealth.
And it’s working. Thanks to years of our grassroots efforts, Democrats now control both chambers of the state legislature.
But Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin remains in office, and he’s used his veto power to block progress at every turn. Youngkin has vetoed a record-breaking 400+ bills, more than any other Virginia governor in modern history. Just this year, he’s shut down 150 bills, including legislation to raise the minimum wage, protect voting rights, ban assault-style weapons, and strengthen union protections.
The good news: Youngkin’s term is ending, and we have a chance to make history. Former Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger is running to become Virginia’s first female governor, and she’s already backed by a growing number of Sister District-endorsed candidates and alumni.
This November, we can do more than hold the line—we can move it. If you’re in the position to do so, will you pitch in $25.25 to build on this momentum for a historic win in Virginia?
Winning the governorship and protecting the House would give Democrats full control of Virginia’s government and the power to pass transformative legislation.
Our endorsed House candidates are in the most competitive districts, and we’re organizing early to win.
From calling voters to recruiting local leaders, we’re laying the groundwork to win key House races and build momentum up the ballot.
We’ve already helped flip dozens of seats in Virginia, John. Now, we need your help to win a blue trifecta.
Will you make a contribution to help scale up our work in Virginia? Every dollar funds early voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and support for candidates in must-win races.
