I’ve been sounding the alarm about the devastating impact that House Republicans’ extreme budget bill will have on millions across the country.

Last week, Republicans betrayed working people by passing the largest cuts to Medicaid and SNAP in history. They slashed over hundreds of billions in funding to critical programs that the lower and middle class rely on – all to pay for tax cuts to the ultra wealthy.

Working families in IL-13 and across the country deserve leaders who fight for them – not for special interests and billionaires like Elon Musk.

It’s never been more clear that Republicans aren’t looking out for working people. While I’m fighting with all I have, we need a change in leadership to reverse this destruction.

That starts with Democrats winning the House majority. With only three seats separating control, IL-13 is a critical piece to the puzzle.
