Unfinished Business: A Call For Action To President Trump To Uproot Deep State

|
|
On January 20, President Trump signed an executive order to revoke the clearances of 51 national security officials who, in October 2020, signed the Hunter Biden laptop letter that falsely suggested that the news story was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. Elections have consequences. With power comes action and also results. The president has started to remove people who are part of the deep state, which has prevented and blocked the administration from continuing to execute the people’s agenda, which he was elected to do. However, no action has been taken against several national security officials who, in September 2019, signed a national security action letter calling for impeachment proceedings against President Trump. Some of the letter’s signatories are still entrenched in government or work for government contractors. These individuals are akin to sleeper cells, representing the deep state, which will continue to hamper efforts to create an administration more fully in sync with the president’s “America First” agenda. To ensure that the president is able to implement his “America First” agenda free of interference, the administration would be wise to revoke the security clearances of anyone remotely associated with efforts to undermine President Trump during his first term.

New Poll: Strong Support For Trump Priorities And Voters Say Biden’s Health Was Hidden From The Public Looking Back

|
|
A new national poll shows rising approval for President Donald Trump’s commitment to deporting illegal aliens and strengthening diplomatic relations with Middle Eastern nations to serve American interests. The survey, fielded by Quantus Insights May 18-20 among 1,000 registered voters shows wide majorities of Americans, including swing voters, approve of President Trump’s deportation strategy and efforts to strengthen U.S. relations with Saudi Arabia and open talks with Iran surrounding its nuclear weapons program. Voters say by a resounding twenty-two points — 59 percent to 37 percent — that the mass deportation of illegal immigrants would be a good thing for the United States. Americans largely agree with Trump’s foreign policy moves, with 59 percent approving of Trump’s Middle East diplomacy, while 35 percent disapprove. The survey also shows a broad majority of the public believes Americans were lied to about Former President Joe Biden’s health status when he was president — and most voters say that looking back Biden was not mentally fit to serve during his time in office. Alarmingly, a majority of Democrats now say looking back they do not believe Biden was fit to serve during his presidency either. Americans say by a strong majority — 65 percent to 24 percent — that former President Biden’s health issues were intentionally downplayed or covered up to mislead the public.

The executive order reads, “In the closing weeks of the 2020 Presidential campaign, at least 51 former intelligence officials coordinated with the Biden campaign to issue a letter discrediting the reporting that President Joseph R. Biden’s son had abandoned his laptop at a computer repair business. Signatories of the letter falsely suggested that the news story was part of a Russian disinformation campaign.”
The letter cited concerns that Trump abused his power by inviting foreign interference in U.S. elections, thereby endangering national security and subordinating national interests to personal political gain.
The letter in parts reads: “President Trump appears to have leveraged the authority and resources of the highest office in the land to invite additional foreign interference into our democratic processes. That would constitute an unconscionable abuse of power. It also would represent an effort to subordinate America’s national interests—and those of our closest allies and partners—to the President’s personal political interest.”
Some of the letter’s signatories are still entrenched in government or work for government contractors. These individuals are akin to sleeper cells, representing the deep state, which will continue to hamper efforts to create an administration more fully in sync with the president’s “America First” agenda.
A number of the signatories include former officials who are still working as executives of government services companies based in the Washington area that hold top secret clearances and oversee mission-critical national services for the U.S. government despite voicing and writing op-eds criticizing the current president.

By Manzanita Miller
A new national poll shows rising approval for President Donald Trump’s commitment to deporting illegal aliens and strengthening diplomatic relations with Middle Eastern nations to serve American interests.
The survey, fielded by Quantus Insights May 18-20 among 1,000 registered voters shows wide majorities of Americans, including swing voters, approve of President Trump’s deportation strategy and efforts to strengthen U.S. relations with Saudi Arabia and open talks with Iran surrounding its nuclear weapons program.
President Trump’s citizens-first approach to deportation is winning over a wide majority of Americans including swing voters according to the survey. Majorities of young people, Hispanics, and independents now support the president’s promise to deport illegal aliens.
Voters say by a resounding twenty-two points — 59 percent to 37 percent — that the mass deportation of illegal immigrants would be a good thing for the United States. Just last year, a slim majority of Americans supported deportation, but that number has climbed since President Trump began making it a reality — and currently, close to 60 percent of the country supports deportation.
The coalition of voters who support deportation is extremely diverse. Hispanics support deportation by eight points, 52 percent to 44 percent, and Blacks narrowly support deportation by two points, 46 percent to 44 percent. Two-thirds of whites (63 percent) support deportation, while just 34 percent oppose it. Independents support deportation by eleven points — 52 percent to 41 percent — and a full 30 percent of Democrats now support deportation, though 68 percent oppose it. Young people under thirty support deportation by sixteen points, 55 percent to 39 percent, and all other age groups support deportation by an even wider margin.
President Trump’s bold approach to foreign policy, which includes strengthening relations with Saudi Arabia and opening up dialogue with Iran around its nuclear weapons program, is also drawing strong bipartisan support.
Americans largely agree with Trump’s foreign policy moves, with 59 percent approving of Trump’s Middle East diplomacy, while 35 percent disapprove. Independents support Trump’s Middle East strategy by thirteen points, 52 percent to 39 percent, and over a third of Democrats — 36 percent — support him as well, though 60 percent disapprove.
Perhaps the most scathing takeaway from the survey is the fact that Americans say by a strong majority — 65 percent to 24 percent — that Former President Biden’s health issues were intentionally downplayed or covered up to mislead the public.
Republicans say by 98 points that Biden’s health issues were intentionally covered up or downplayed to mislead the public, while independents say so by thirty-two points, 61 percent to 29 percent. Although a majority of Democrats — 42 percent — say they do not believe Biden’s health issues were intentionally hidden, a full 36 percent say they do believe Biden’s health issues were hidden.
What is worse, a full 74 percent of voters say that looking back, Biden did not possess the mental and cognitive fitness to effectively serve during his time as president. Just twenty-two percent of Americans say Biden did possess the mental and cognitive fitness to serve.
Democrats believe by twenty-one points, 58 percent to 37 percent, that looking back their president did not possess the mental and cognitive fitness to conduct his role. In other words, only 37 percent of Democrats say that looking back Biden had the mental state to effectively serve as president. Only one percent of Republicans and 28 percent of independents say Biden had the mental and cognitive fitness to effectively serve during his time as president.
This lack of trust in the way Democratic leadership handled Joe Biden’s physical and mental health during his presidency could not come at a worse time for Democrats. The Democratic party is suffering a massive decline in optimism since last summer and credibility for the Democratic brand is at a record low, including among members of their own party.
At the same time, a majority of Americans and an increasing number of swing voters are aligning with President Trump’s America First policy priorities. Political allegiances are shifting as the former “Obama coalition” redefines itself, and a large portion of former moderates and swing voters are moving toward the right.
