Last week the House GOP passed its 2025 budget bill.

The bill’s sweeping cuts to medicaid will strip coverage from over 8.7 million people and lead to 7.6 million more uninsured people over 10 years. 

The cuts are so unpopular that even some Senate Republicans are lining up to oppose them. But will they be enough? 

Don’t let the technical jargon of budget reconciliation fool you, this is what’s at stake, sweeping cuts to medicaid means millions of dead Americans.

It means parents not living to see their children's graduations and weddings, it means grandmas and grandpas dying ten years earlier than they should’ve, and it means poor people having to soldier on with deadly but otherwise treatable conditions like heart disease.

With the bill presently stalled in the Senate we have a unique but rapidly closing window to solidify opposition to the cuts. Will you sign your name onto to No Dem Left Behind’s petition to our Senators demanding that they oppose deadly cuts to medicaid?
