Friend,

Today I'm reaching out to respectfully ask if you would make a $3 contribution to my campaign before midnight.

Let me briefly explain why:

The end of May means there’s just one month until we will have to submit our next quarterly fundraising report to the FEC. Lots of people – from the White House and NRCC to our self-funding opponent – will look closely through our report to see if we have what it takes to win in IL-17 once again.

We’re aiming to raise another $12,000 in online donations by the end of May to stay on pace. If we meet our goal, we’ll send a clear message about the strength behind our movement, and whether we’re on track to build the blue wave through the Midwest.

Please use this link to contribute to our re-election campaign before midnight tonight. Any amount helps, but $3 will go a long way.

Remember: the horrible Republican budget bill, which will kick millions off of affordable healthcare and food relief, passed by just one vote. That means every single show of support can make the difference in flipping a pro-worker majority to undo this mess.

But Republicans know their actions are unpopular, and that’s why their campaign arm is already attacking me and other swing-seat Democrats non-stop, and avoid the working class reckoning they deserve.

Soon enough, the GOP dark money will start pouring into this race, trying to buy a complicit Republican who’ll green light even more attacks on working folks. That makes our grassroots fundraising efforts – right now – all the more important.

So, if you can, please make a $3 contribution to my campaign by midnight.

Thank you,

Eric
