You can show what Canadians really think about government spending that keeps going up.

The federal government has increased spending by 26 per cent in the last five years and that’s after adjusting for inflation.

It’s time to find out what other Canadians think about that.

That’s why we are ready to commission a poll to find out what Canadians think should happen to government spending. It’s one of the best ways to push politicians to act.

Polls like this are important because politicians care about polling results more than a squirrel cares about nuts.

In fact, cold hard polling numbers made a big difference on issues like carbon taxes and the capital gains tax hike.

Prime Minister Mark Carney is starting to think about the budget. He’s said that Ottawa is spending too much. Getting this poll in front of his eyes could make a big difference.

He needs to know what Canadians think about government spending.
