Team, in this race for governor, I am running proudly on my record — as a Navy helicopter pilot, as a former federal prosecutor, and as a representative for New Jersey families in Congress.

In fact, in just my second term, I was named the most effective New Jersey House lawmaker by the nonpartisan Center for Effective Lawmaking.

It’s no secret that it can feel impossible to get anything done in Washington, D.C. But I have remained steadfast in my dedication to deliver results for New Jerseyans – knowing when to reach across the aisle, when to push a little harder, when to stand up and say “hell no,” and always keeping the families I have the honor of representing at the center of what I do.

Now, as our next governor, I’m ready to get stuff done for all New Jerseyans.

I have big goals for our state – like lowering energy and grocery costs, making housing more affordable, improving access to health care and child care, and so much more. I know the work it will take to get it done, and I’m up for the challenge.

But I can’t do it alone, which is why I’m building a grassroots team that believes in this work, made up of people who, like me, are committed to defending our constitutional freedoms and making our state a safer and more affordable place to live.
