Pamela — There are some genuinely dangerous people with big platforms in the Republican party right now.

New far-right GOP member of Congress Randy Fine went on Fox last week to spread the slanderous lie that I “endorse and support Muslim terror.” In the wake of so much recent political violence, it’s a reckless thing to say to millions of viewers that only helps incite more hate and violence.

But it doesn’t end there.

While reacting to the killing of two Israeli embassy staff in DC last week, Randy proudly suggested that Gaza needs to be attacked with nuclear weapons. Really. Watch the video below if you don’t believe me.



That is a disgusting, genocidal statement that has no place in our politics. I can’t imagine the cruelty that must be in one’s heart to say something like this.

And the truth is, if this remark was made about any other conflict or directed at any other people, Randy Fine would be censored by the House and face calls to resign from all sides. But when it’s directed at Palestinians, it barely makes the news.

Randy Fine has put a target on my back and the back of all Muslim people because he is a hateful racist, plain and simple. The fact that he holds national elected office is proof of the complete takeover of the Republican party by extremists and authoritarians. I’m reaching out today to ask for your help in fighting back.

My campaign has always stood strong throughout these relentless attacks because we believe in the power of solidarity. We stand together to take on the challenges of our day rather than dividing people up and spreading lies.

We have a lot of work ahead, but we have a responsibility to turn back this tide of hatred and lies and instead promote understanding, fairness, democracy, and justice for all.

Show that you have my back today by chipping in whatever you can to our campaign. Randy Fine and the entire far-right movement must be defeated before they tear down our democracy for good.
