BREAKING: NPR and three Colorado public radio stations just filed suit against Trump, arguing his relentless attempt to usurp Congress’ authority to defund public media is a violation of the first amendment.

It comes just days after the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) amended its bylaws to protect its board from political firings after Trump tried to seize control by firing the leadership at the CPB – the organization responsible for funding NPR, PBS, and local public media across America.

These are bold, courageous moves – but our beloved public media can't hold out alone.
