John

I have reached the “Age of the Double-Whammy.” Every year, I have a birthday that is accompanied by a number that increasingly makes it harder to argue that I am a “young person.”

Then, even worse, my children have birthdays. Last week, I was hit especially hard when my oldest son turned eleven. Eleven. I cannot believe that boy is eleven, and I certainly cannot believe I’m old enough to have an eleven year old son.

We moved to Georgia shortly before Peyton celebrated his 3rd birthday. We frequented the pool all summer. Here’s my serious son’s face after a dive in the water.

And, here he is just a couple of Sundays ago as he took his first communion – having officially joined our church. (Hopefully, God won’t judge me for sneaking a picture!)

In addition to making me feel old, the marked passage of time with my children reminds me of the urgency of my mission. I left a successful business to do this work because I wanted to transform the culture my children would grow up in. I wanted to see their future improved. And, I wanted them to see a state and nation restored.

That time – that future – is now. My oldest son isn’t little anymore. Just as a I blinked and saw my 3-year-old with a Batman Birthday Party turn into an 11-year-old who, for the first time, told Mom and Dad, that he was “too old” for birthday themes (whatever that means), I will soon blink and find him to be heading off to college (hopefully Auburn – War Eagle - and close to home!).

Recently, we put out a big goal as an organization - $260,000 by June 30th. For summer months, which tend to be leaner, that’s a heavy lift. But, we cannot afford to play around. The future of my children – and that of your children and grandchildren – is at stake. The passage of time has left us little margin for error.

The future leadership and direction of our state is a right now battle.

The state of the Church and its response to this cultural moment is a right now battle.

Raising up a new generation grounded in a biblical worldview and understanding how to make an impact is a right now battle.

Determining whether Georgia will be a state that values life, protects the innocence of our children, and engages the policy space with a commitment to biblical principles is a right now battle.

With so much on the line in 2026, the trajectory for this cycle will be set by the strength and actions of this organization – and how quickly we can build in the coming months.

And, let there be no mistaking it, this is the pivotal cycle that very much determines the Georgia that this rising generation will inherit.

Will you make your best gift today toward our $260,000 goal?

The time is now to make a difference. For the sake of this next generation, it’s imperative that Frontline continue its leadership in policy and elections, expand its work in the Church, and get all-the-more intentional about raising up the future leaders of our state.

I cannot believe that I now have an eleven-year-old-son. I also cannot believe that Georgia is now in this critical moment – with what we do now in this season set to define the state this generation will inherit.

It’s all on the line.

The time is now!

To Victory!
