John, Trump’s “Big, Beautiful” (or as our founder Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon calls it, “Big, Bad, BS”) budget bill just passed the House without a single vote from Democrats. This bill represents a once-in-a-generation theft from the most vulnerable Americans: the poor, the disabled, and the elderly.
Mary Gay spent 22 hours on the Rules Committee last week fighting back against this atrocious bill. Democrats are working hard, but we don’t have the numbers to stop the GOP corruption leading to travesties like this.
